FREELANCE DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

DESCRIPTION:  Duties include, but are not limited to, creating still graphic elements for digital, web and social media with STRONG emphasis on digital sales advertising elements with an eye for brand-focused, creative design that best serves the needs of sales clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Include working with sales and sales production team to create contemporary, eye-catching graphic material for web and digital use.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Broadcast design experience in a television news station environment; proficiency in graphic still design.  Must be able to work quickly under time pressure situations and short deadlines.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills required with emphasis on creative problem-solving in a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in Mac and PC-based programs including Photoshop, Illustrator.  Familiarity with television production principles and workflow a plus.
