We’re looking for a commission-only salesperson to develop new business for our OTA and Digital Radio programming.
The candidate for this position will excel at developing and closing new opportunities. By using a targeted, consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with new customers. The successful candidate will have proven success in Broadcast Media sales. Radio Sales experience is preferred, but not required. Demonstrated success in Non-Traditional Revenue sales is a plus. This is a commission-only position. The ideal candidate could be an individual who is returning to the workforce but does not want the commitment of full-time employment, or freelance sales professional who prefers to work from home.
- Develop and pursue a list of targeted clients in conjunction with the founders
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Successfully create business from new customer accounts
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
- Communicate clearly and effectively with management
- Self-starter who can produce sales with a minimum of supervision
- 2-5 years' quota-carrying sales experience
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to be creative and work cooperatively on creative ideas.
- 2-5 years’ experience in Broadcast Media
- Basic understanding of Online Media including Social Media
