Greenwood Village, CO – KOSI 101.1 is teaming up with Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) and CBS4 to help Denver area kids in one of their times of greatest need. Last year, the community helped us collect over 4,000 teddy bears for the cause!

Beginning Monday, July 29, 2019, the KOSI 101.1 Teddy Bear Patrol launches across the metro area. KOSI 101.1 will encourage listeners to donate a new teddy bear. Stuffed animals can be dropped off at CBS4 or any CareNow Urgent Care Clinic or RMHC location around Denver.

On September 14, 2019, at locations to be announced, KOSI 101.1 personalities and employees from RMHC and CBS4 will distribute thousands of teddy bears to Denver area first responders. These include the Denver Police, Denver Fire Departments and Denver-area EMS. The teddy bears will be provided by first responders to comfort children involved in traumatizing situations.

A complete list of donation locations is listed below and available online at www.kosi101.com.

Bonneville-Denver Vice-President/Market Manager Bob Call commented, “This is our third Teddy Bear Patrol on KOSI 101.1. We are so grateful to our KOSI 101.1 listeners who help make such a small act have such a positive impact in a young life.”

RMHC President/CEO Maureen Tarrant added, “Providing teddy bears to children in need is a great start in the recovery process. We are honored to partner with wonderful EMS and first responder teams and we thank them for their hard work and dedication to provide excellent care for our communities.”

This is a wonderful partnership for us and we invite our viewers to join in and help make a difference by donating teddy bears,” CBS4 General Manager Walt DeHaven said.
