In 2018 the FCC required the last of all full power broadcast stations to move their local public inspection files on-line in a digital format hosted on the FCC’s website and accessible to anyone with an internet connection and a computer.
Now, with the FCC license renewal process commencing soon, Fletcher, Heald, & Hildreth’s Frank Montero, Dan Kirkpatrick and Steve Lovelady present a webinar to help broadcasters navigate the online filing process. This webinar will provide updates based on our experience with the roll-out of the Online Public Inspection File (OPIF) to all radio broadcasters over the last year.
In collaboration with Colorado Broadcasters Association, Montero, Kirkpatrick and Lovelady present on a variety of issues related to the OPIF, from what documents and materials need to be uploaded, to the consequences of not complying with the FCC’s OPIF mandate at license renewal time, and tips on how to report any public file shortcomings in renewal applications. You are not logged in to your account or you do not have permission to access this member only information.
