Each year the CBA installs phone lines at each of the high school state basketball tournament locations across the state. These lines provide broadcasters with the ability to deliver quality coverage of the tournaments.
Tournament phone lines are available to CBA members only. A fee of $50 per game is charged to help cover the cost of installation. A cap of $150 is instituted to allow stations to cover multiple games without incurring extraordinary expenses.
The CBA is managed by a thirteen-member Board of Directors and a President/CEO. The board consists of twelve active broadcasters and an associate member representative. Board Members are elected for three year terms by the broadcast members. A Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary Treasurer make up the officers of the board and are elected from the sitting board. The mission of the CBA is to continuously build a stronger broadcast industry.
