Interfaith Alliance’s “The Vote Is Sacred” Tour Makes Final Stop in Denver
Interfaith Alliance of Colorado will host the final stop of the national “The Vote Is Sacred” Tour on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with a press conference at 4:15 p.m. on the west steps of the Colorado State Capitol.
The nonpartisan bus tour, organized by the national Interfaith Alliance, is traveling through 33 cities across 16 states ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The initiative aims to mobilize faith communities, encourage voter participation, promote election protection, and prepare local organizations to respond to potential challenges surrounding the electoral process.
Throughout the tour, Interfaith Alliance has partnered with local faith organizations and religious leaders from diverse traditions to host community events, provide educational resources, and encourage civic engagement. The organization has also pledged $200,000 in grants to support local faith-based election protection efforts nationwide.
The Denver event will feature remarks from faith leaders representing various religious traditions and democracy advocates, highlighting the important role faith communities can play in protecting voting rights and supporting a healthy democracy.
The name of the campaign was inspired by the late Representative, civil rights icon and Baptist minister John Lewis, who said “The vote is precious, almost sacred.”

Budget for Your Station's Alternative Broadcast Inspection in 2027
Stations inspected in 2024 are due for their three-year Alternative Broadcast Inspection (ABIP) in 2027. ABIP prices will remain the same for 2027 and applications are at the link below.
If you’re unsure of your ABIP expiration, contact the CBA for your last inspection date.
ABIP provides a thorough review of your Online Public Information File (OPIF), Emergency Alert System (EAS) and physical transmitter site. The CBA’s ABIP inspector provides each station with a detailed report of all findings and, if passed, a renewed three-year certificate that protects against “pop” FCC inspections for a new three-year term. Findings are never shared with the FCC.
