FOX21 is searching for a producer for our hour-long Lifestyle Show. The style of the show is segment and interview-based, highlighting events and unique storytelling here in Southern Colorado.  A college degree in broadcasting or related major is preferred with at least 1-2 years’ experience. Familiarity with I-News, Adobe Premier Editing System, and the Ross automated system puts you way ahead of the game.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $33,000.00 - and up, commensurate with experience

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Minimum two years’ experience in news operations (Depending on market size)
  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility with shift
