CUMULUS MEDIA | Colorado Springs is searching for an experienced On-Air Program Director/Morning Co-Host. Cumulus heritage Country KATC-FM has a rare opening for a Program Director/Morning Co-Host position. Our new Cat Country 95.1 PD will be focused and driven to create a positive ratings and revenue distance between the station and our competitors and lead our local and syndicated talent into a position to grow and succeed. Cumulus has the tools and team in place to help YOU to craft the next chapter for this legendary radio station.

CUMULUS Colorado Springs features 6 unique brands in Southern Colorado. KATC-FM, KCSF-AM, KKFM-FM, 98.9 Magic FM, 92.9 Peak FM and KVOR-AM.  These stations reach hundreds of thousands of listeners on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and manage the imaging, music, and brand of Cat Country 95.1
• Coach, direct, develop, and motivate air talent to maximize their performance and appeal
• Deliver unique content that builds ratings and grows terrestrial and digital audience in the core demo
• Work closely with sales and marketing team to develop relationships contests, promotions and revenue
• Ensure operation of station in accordance with FCC regulations and policies
• Host on-air programming, both live and tracked.  Operate control board, remote broadcasting and other related production equipment as well as music scheduling software

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of successful programming experience in a Nielsen rated market preferred
• Strong social and digital experience
• Savvy computer skills and proficiency with research and music scheduling
• Ability to multi-task and the discipline to focus on what is the highest and best use of your time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with air staff, departments and clients
• Creative and strategic problem solver
• Deep knowledge of music, pop culture and current events and how they relate to the Cat Country 95.1 target listener
