2025 FCC Annual Regulatory Fees

End of summer means annual FCC regulatory fees. As with most years, annual FCC regulatory fees for 2025 will likely be due the last week of September. We expect to know the exact due date by the end of August. As in past years, late payments will be subject to a 25% penalty.
Regulatory fee filings must be initiated through the FCC’s online fee filer system and paid by credit card, ACH (electronic check) or by wire transfer. If paying by ACH or wire transfer, payment should be initiated several days prior to the deadline to allow for processing.
Stations with designated non-commercial educational licenses and/or stations licensed to non-profit entities are exempt from having to pay regulatory fees.
Also, some commercial licensees that owe a de minimis amount may also be subject to exemption. Last year the de minimis threshold was $1,000 but the de minimis amount for 2025 has not yet been announced and could be higher.
