2025 Colorado Legislative Session Ends

Wednesday, May 7th wrapped the seventy-fifth Colorado General Assembly.

The CBA spent much of the session fighting special CORA carveouts and a last minute DeepFake/AI bill that would have placed civil and criminal liability on broadcasters.

Thanks to all of our hard working journalists, newsrooms and broadcasters for stepping up and providing testimonials to protect our industry.

A summary of the CBA's advocacy work in 2025 will be posted here in the coming weeks.
