Urgent! Broadcast the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Spots During the 4th of July |
|
This is a call for all of Colorado’s AM radio station leaders!
We are closer than ever to passing the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act — legislation requiring automakers to include AM radio in every vehicle sold. But to get it across the finish line, we need one final push from the voices that matter most: your listeners.
We’re asking all Colorado AM stations to immediately begin airing these powerful advocacy spots and run them heavily through the July 4th holiday weekend. This is a key moment to rally public support while lawmakers are back in their districts and tuned in to local radio.

Important: These messages must be reported in your station’s public inspection file as issue ads. To obtain the NAB’s PB-19 Forms required for documentation, please contact Sarah Lim at [email protected].

Colorado legislature begins video livestreaming pilot of committee meetings August 1st
By Jeffrey A. Roberts, CFOIC Executive Director
Colorado legislative leaders voted 4-1 Wednesday to test video coverage of General Assembly committee meetings in five rooms of the state Capitol complex from August to November.
Under the pilot program, live video livestreaming will be enabled for certain interim committees on the current Sliq MediaTechnologies system that now provides audio streaming of committee meetings. “Instead of having a static page, we would have a video frame up there” using already-installed cameras, said Zack Wimberly, the legislature’s senior IT manager. |
