College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) invites media professionals from the Colorado region to participate in the 2025 National Student Media Convention (NSMC) — the premier gathering of leaders within student media outlets from across the U.S.
This year’s convention will be held in Denver from October 22 – 25 at the Embassy Suites Downtown and we’re calling on professionals like you to help.
The NSMC is a dynamic, three-day event designed to foster networking, mentorship, and professional development for students working in radio, television, video, podcasting, and digital media at college and high school outlets nationwide. With sessions led by students, educators, and professionals, the convention offers a unique platform for real-world insight and collaboration.
We are seeking passionate professionals from all corners of the media landscape — traditional broadcasters, digital content creators, advertising and PR experts, production houses, filmmakers, and more — to share their expertise. Whether you present on a specific topic, participate in a panel, or host a Q&A, your voice can make a lasting impact on the next generation of media professionals.
Your experience can help students understand the evolving media environment, explore career paths, and gain the skills they need to thrive. This is your opportunity to give back, connect with emerging talent, and help shape the future of our industry.
