103.1/1310 KFKA Launches New Morning Show Featuring Radio Star, Brian Gary

Greeley – May 4, 2022 – 103.1/1310 KFKA, Northern Colorado’s Voice, will launch a new morning show, weekdays, 6a-9a.  “Good Morning NOCO” will be a true Northern Colorado magazine program that will be both informative and entertaining.

Hosted by radio legend, Brian Gary and up and coming talent, Tanner Schwindt, “Good Morning NOCO” will be a fast-paced program that will focus on area sports, the latest news, a daily weather outlook, traffic and will be sure to have a lot of fun in between.

“I am so excited to be going back to morning radio,” Gary said of the shift change. “I’ve missed waking up northern Colorado and can’t wait to start doing it again. Tanner and I met when I first came to KFKA and immediately became great friends. I was knocked out by his talent and I’m honored to partner with him on this new journey. This is going to be a blast! Buckle up NOCO!”

“The fact that we get to bring something so new and fresh to the Northern Colorado community is a special opportunity,” Schwindt added.   “I can’t wait to start the people of Northern Colorado’s morning off right!

“Good Morning NOCO” begins on May 9th at 6a on KFKA. Gary will host the 6a hour with Schwindt jumping on board at 7a.  Station Manager, Brady Hull, promises that this show will be unlike anything heard in the state.

“KFKA has shifted over the years to more of an entertainment focused radio station.  We already have the best sports coverage in the area and now, with this addition, we will have the most entertaining morning drive time show around,” Hull said.  “Brian Gary is an incredible talent that has no equal when it comes to providing great radio.  We were so fortunate to have him join the station last summer and as we began planning the new morning format, it was clear that Brian would be the perfect fit.”

Schwindt was hosting “NOCO NOW,” a mid-morning news and sports talk show and won the Colorado Broadcasters Association’s “Best Talk Show in a major market” in 2020.

“Tanner took a unique idea that we formed during the pandemic and grew his show into a staple in our community,” Hull added.  “Tanner and Brian have both created fantastic radio shows over the past couple of years so why not combine those and craft the best morning show in the state?”

KFKA is the home of preps sports coverage, the UNC Bears and the NOCO station for the Broncos and the Rockies. You can also hear the award winning Hull Show weekdays 12-2 and local preps show, Clark and the Coach, 11-12
