In light of recent local and national developments, surrounding the coronavirus, the CBA, in the interest of safety, has decided to cancel the 2020 Awards of Excellence Gala. This was an extremely difficult decision.
We know this is disappointing for all of you, but the CBA takes the health of our broadcast community extremely seriously. You are our community’s first informers and your listeners and viewers need you during this difficult time.
Tickets will be fully refunded and we have confirmed that both the Grand Hyatt and Holiday Inn Express will provide a no-penalty cancellation for any rooms already booked. Please be sure to contact the hotel and cancel your room reservations as soon as possible.
Awards of Excellence winners and Certificate of Merit recipients will be posted on the CBA’s website, April 17th, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. Plaque and certificate delivery arrangements will be announced shortly thereafter.
