Recently, the FCC launched a rulemaking proceeding regarding the revitalization of AM radio.
The Colorado Broadcasters Association will join other state broadcast associations in filing Joint Comments.
However, it is essential that AM station owners and operators review the FCC’s proposal and submit comments to the CBA, for possible inclusion in the filing.
The CBA is interested in the following:
1. Of the proposals offered in the NPRM, which ones are most likely to be of help to your station(s) in the near-term, long-term and why?
2. Are there any other ways the FCC could be helpful in improving the technical quality of AM radio?
