SECC Satellite Radio Request Form

The Colorado State Emergency Communications Committee (SECC) has secured the FCC’s approval to use SiriusXM satellite receivers as an alternative monitoring source for Local Primary (LP1 and LP2) stations that need an additional path for receiving National Emergency Alert System (EAS) messages. To support this effort and strengthen Colorado’s overall EAS readiness, the Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) is funding the purchase of these receivers for eligible stations. This initiative is intended to enhance monitoring reliability and assist Colorado broadcasters in maintaining robust, compliant EAS operations.
