Position Overview
This position oversees the sales support team (Account Managers and Sales Operations Coordinator) to ensure efficient workflow and deliver necessary services to the Company’s internal and external customers. Their focus is on client retention, growth, and satisfactoin and accountability for client outcomes. The role also manages fulfillment and customer deliverables on all client advertisting campaigns. In addition, this role will be instrumental in identifying areas of improvement in workflow and provide recommendations for those improvements.
This position will contribute to the success of Account Executives, Sales Managers and Director of Sales by preparing reports, presentations, sales orders, tracking reports and research in order to ensure accuracy and timeliness, and to maximize the amount of effective selling time. They and the team they lead will provide the best possible customer service, projecting a professional, businesslike and friendly demeanor.
Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.
- This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Denver site.
What You Will Do:
Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit, hire and manage a team of support personnel including Account Managers and Sales Operations Coordinator.
- Manage fulfillment and customer deliverables on all sold promotions.
- Establish workflow and procedures for executing sales department promotions.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of business tools including Boostr, DFP, CRM, Scarborough, Tapscan, and other tools which the Company may adopt from time to time.
- Identify areas for internal workflow improvements and provide recommendations, including digital processes.
- Support and assist in managing account operations, sales tools and activities.
- Attend and advise on select Key Account campaign onboarding and status calls.
- Establish and maintain best practices and workflow for all Account Managers.
- Schedule and lead regular meetings with team members to discuss issues, work progress, etc.
- Implement training for new hires and identify training opportunities for current staff.
- Update and provide weekly reports for Sales Management.
- Back up Account Manager role, when necessary.
- Provide the best possible customer service, projecting a professional, businesslike and friendly demeanor.
- Participate in training to enhance professional skills and the overall understanding of new and evolving media.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and other meetings as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
- College degree in communication, sales, marketing, related field, or equivalent. Experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous account management or customer success experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work well with sales management, executive management, and other departments.
- Track record of developing outstanding external business relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Must be goal-oriented and self-motivated with proven capability of independently organizing, performing work, and assuring follow-through.
- Experience with Wide Orbit preferred.
- Must possess driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical Demands
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Compensation
$70,000 - $80,000. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
