Reason for Running
Local broadcasters are underserved within the radio industry. Many large advertisers choose to advertise with the major broadcasting companies and smaller broadcasters are overlooked or not even considered. Unfortunately, this leads to money lost for both advertisers and broadcasters. Many people prefer to listen to their local stations for entertainment as well as information. I would like to educate our local, state and federal governments on considering the impact of local broadcasters on our communities and how important it is to use this information when making legislative decisions.
