At the annual CBA planning retreat, the Board of Directors voted to increase the Broadcast Education & Development Program’s award limit. Applicants can now apply for up to $1,000.00 toward a program of their choosing. Station applications can now total up to $3,000 per fiscal year.
The increase will help cover the growing costs of continued education programs and help applicants afford training opportunities.
The increase is effective as of July 1, 2016 and the scholarship fund has been replenished with $10,000 for applicants to utilize.
In the past the Broadcast Education & Development Program has awarded scholarship funds for a wide range of training and conferences, including:
