Colorado Springs, CO (September 16, 2021) – KXRM-TV (FOX), KXTU-TV (CW), and FOX21News.com, owned by Nexstar Media Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST), today announced that Abby Richter has been promoted to Director of Sales. Ms. Richter will begin her new duties officially as of Monday, September 20, 2021 and will report to Donna D’Amico, Vice President and General Manager of same entities.
No stranger to electronic media and management, Abby Richter brings with her 9 years of management experience to this new role. Since 2018, she has served as Local Sales Manager for KXRM-TV, KXTU-TV, during which time she consistently achieved and exceeded revenue goals and introduced several new campaigns beneficial to the support and growth of local business in our community.
Prior to joining KXRM-TV and KXTU-TV in 2018, Ms. Richter successfully coached and led the Central Nebraska and North Platte Account Executive Team as the Local Sales Manager across 2 different markets (Lincoln/Hastings/Kearney-DMA #105 and North Platte-DMA #209) with 7 different television stations (KOLN/KGIN-TV [CBS], KSNB-TV [NBC], NSNB-TV [MYTV], KCWH/KNHL-TV [CW], KNOP-TV [NBC], KNPL [CBS], KIIT-TV [FOX]) resulting in reaching individual and collective goals across all station platforms including digital. While in her previous role, she played an instrumental role in launching sales efforts across three new television stations (KSNB-TV, KCWH/KNHL-TV, KNPL-TV).
